You've heard it before: self-care is important. But what does that mean? Sure, you can take a bubble bath, sip some coffee, read a book, or get a manicure—but is that all there is to it for self-care?
Here’s the thing: You know how when you're really busy, it's easy to just grab a doughnut from the break room instead of making your favorite lunch? Or how when you're stressed at work, you often end up snapping at the people around you? And this is happening despite the fact that you do indulge in the “typical self care routine” practices?
That's because self-care is more than bubble baths and a mani-pedi. Self-care is about intentional choices that are good for your health, even if they don't feel as luxurious or fun as a massage or getting your hair done. In fact, intentional self care is something that we do every single day, not a once a while treat, which is the difference between feeling calm and centered, and feeling anxious and overwhelmed. And this is the best form of emotional self care.
The benefits of self-care are often overlooked but it's imperative for good emotional, physical, and mental health. In this episode, I'll share four ways to really nurture yourself on a deeper level so you can start practicing intentional self care that your body and mind will really respond to.
Taking time out for yourself can seem like a luxury—not something you have time to do, let alone something you deserve. But self care isn't a luxury. Self-care is necessary for good health. Whether we're talking about emotional, physical, or mental health (or all three), taking care of yourself is the best way to support your body and mind when times get tough. Self-care is necessary my friend!

Are you feeling stuck? Have you been in the same place for so long that it's starting to drain your energy? Maybe all your circumstances are lined up nicely; you have a great job, and a wonderful family… BUT something still feels off.
Let's face it: staying in the same place isn't doing you any good. In fact, it's probably doing you more harm than good.
Think about it: Staying stuck is keeping you in bondage—chaining you to a life that isn't fulfilling, and keeping you from growing into the best version of yourself. It’s also draining your energy leaving you unable to go after what God is really calling you to do.
So today, I’m talking about comfort zones. Which are not always so comfortable, are they?
Comfort zones are not really all they are cracked up to be. When you feel called to make changes in your life, but have a fear of uncertainty, or aren't willing to take that big leap of faith- that's when you can end up feeling sad, sick, and stuck! The Lord wants you to feel your absolute best, and stepping out of your comfort zone is the first step.
In today's episode, I want to bring you a different perspective, on how staying in the same place is doing you more harm than good. This time of being in Midlife is the perfect time to get UNSTUCK!
I’m sharing some reasons why you may be making these choices, and why it's time to move away from fear. In this season of Midlife.
This is the perfect moment for you to access the power within you, right now. You are full of life, and abundance is your birthright.
The good news is that it's not all gloom and doom! I offer some simple, and actionable advice on how to break those chains, and help you move towards the best version of yourself. Here’s the truth: Perhaps, God does not intend for you to be happy in your comfort zone. Instead, He wants to help you to become the beautiful strong woman he sent you here to be in Midlife!
Step out in faith, and know that today is the day to embrace uncertainty!

Feeling drained? Are you pushing yourself to workout even when you're exhausted? Physical exhaustion is sadly something that most of us are struggling with. This goes beyond just feeling tired. It is that draining fatigue that often goes unaddressed and ignored. Because we keep pushing ourselves even through our fatigue. Does this sound like you?
Most times, when we’re feeling physically drained and fatigued, we just push through a workout- or maybe we just skip working out all together. We all know the importance of listening to your body and getting your exercise in, but when you’re feeling drained, wiped out and fatigued, I get that it’s challenging to get your workout in.
But what if there was a different way to think about workouts when you are fatigued and have low energy? What if instead of pushing our bodies to do something unpleasant, or skip a workout altogether, we just dropped that kind of thinking and adopted a fun healthy movement way of thinking?!
Fun healthy movement is a great way to boost your energy! Yes, beautiful! We can honor our bodies and the importance of movement with ease! So, today, I’ll give you 5 tips to successful and fun movement when you’re feeling drained.
Moving your body doesn’t always have to be grunt work! It can also be fun! Switching it up and doing something that is both enjoyable, and healthy is key to helping your body when you are going through physical AND mental exhaustion and fatigue.
